Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Deerfield Beach, FL that is seeking a Visualization and Reporting Analyst - Power BI.

Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand and gather visualization and reporting requirements

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Developers, Power BI Data Modeler and Analysts to build scalable and effective visualization, and reporting solutions with interactive visuals that convey data insights

Connect to various data sources and ensure data flows smoothly, extracting relevant data

Perform data profiling and data analysis to gain an understanding of the underlying data used for solutions

Prepare and model data as required for visualizations and reports

Create and maintain documentation, including solution documentation, design, and technical specifications as required

Support daily operations, job scheduling, maintenance, support requests, change management, and solutions inventory

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to data connectivity, data modeling, and visualization rendering

Follow established governance and information security practices and standards

System Knowledge

Learn Business Unit systems and processes

Provide training to end-users as needed

Contribute to the Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform COEs to efficiently evolve data practices and strengthen tool adoption at Business Unit and the company

Qualifications

Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Excel

Experience with Tableau and Cognos is a plus

Good understanding of Citizen IT, low code / no code, data management practices, visualization, and reporting tools

Familiarity with agile development methodology, Azure DevOps

Ability to build visualization and reporting solutions in an Agile environment

Excellent communication skills

Must be highly analytical

Organization and time management skills

Compensation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
