Volunteering with Amedisys Hospice-Murfreesboro can be a rewarding experience. Here are some ways you can get involved :

• Support for Patients :

Spend time with patients by visiting, reading, or taking walks.

Assist with shopping or light household maintenance.

Work closely with the hospice’s bereavement staff.

Use your clerical skills to help with administrative duties in the hospice office.

Volunteer services such as notary, barber, beautician, or musician.

Remember that most hospices require volunteers to be over the age of 18 or 21, but some have programs for high school students.
