TEMPORARY NURSE (RN) - 16-WEEK ASSIGNMENT - PREMIUM PAY $70.00 / hour

Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Job Duties / Responsibilities :

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Registered Nurse (RN) prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.

HOURS / SCHEDULE : This is TEMPORARY 16-WEEK ASSIGNMENT. The first two weeks will be orientation Monday - Friday 8am - 5 : 30pm. Then three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 14 weeks, alternating weekends. We are currently seeking night shift applicants. Night shift is 7PM - 7 : 30AM.

HOURLY RATE : $70.00 per hour. This is not a benefits eligible position.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
• One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.
• Licensure and registration by the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies as a registered nurse.
• Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
• Current CPR or BLS certification or ability to learn, this training is provided during training period.
