QUALITY ASSURANCE TRAINEE

Location : Lubbock, TX

Pay : $18-$23 / hr DOE + Full Benefits

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Snelling is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Trainee for a well-established company in Lubbock, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning the fundamentals of quality inspection and manufacturing processes in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Our client is willing to train the right individual -someone who brings transferable skills such as mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and learning how to ensure product quality from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn and perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies.

Assist with measuring and testing parts using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).

Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Help document and organize inspection data for review by senior QA staff.

Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Participate in on-the-job training to learn inspection techniques, blueprint reading, and basic quality documentation practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills.

Mechanical, manufacturing, or production-related background preferred (shop, assembly, machining, or maintenance).

Basic math and measurement skills.

Reliable attendance and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma or GED required.
