Salary: $17.50/hour

Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring for a Production Machine Operator, located in Kettering, OH for $17.50/hour!

*Must have good longevity/tenure. Resumes with inconsistent work history or frequent job movement (several jobs in less than a year or short periods at several jobs) will NOT be considered.

Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Mandatory OT on Fridays when needed

Essential Job Functions:

  • Learns industrial math, print reading, and machining theory related to the department they are assigned.
  • Under the guidance of the Trainer or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department which they are assigned.
  • Loads raw material and unloads finished product from machine.
  • Performs basic deburring on product.
  • Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
  • Learns safe operation of & receives practical experience on machines within the department they are assigned.
  • Follows sequence of operation on router.
  • Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.

Job Classification Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate with previous manufacturing experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years CNC experience.
  • Must have manual lathe experience.
  • Must have a good work ethic.
  • Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
  • Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Always adheres to company safety policies.

Employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other duties as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
