ABOUT THE ROLE
ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer - Algorithm Integration to join a collaborative team building secure, scalable and maintainable software systems that host and operationalize advanced algorithms. In this role, the Software Engineer works closely adjacent to algorithm engineers, supporting the transition of algorithm prototypes into production-ready, maintainable software frameworks. The position focuses on integrating mathematically and physics-based algorithms into scalable, testable, secure software systems suitable for operational use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and maintain software architectures that support algorithm development, simulation, and analytical workflowsWork closely with algorithm engineers to integrate research and prototype algorithms into production-quality software frameworksDevelop and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, security scanning and deploymentAnalyze algorithm tradeoffs, assumptions, and limitations when transitioning algorithms from prototype to operational softwarePropose and protype improvement to software frameworks that host embedded algorithmsSupport the hardening, optimization, and maintainability of algorithm implementations developed by algorithm-focused engineersWork closely with systems engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate operational needs into end-to-end software solutionsManage individual tasks, priorities, and deliverables while contributing to team planning and technical decisions-makingMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experienceProficiency in Python and / or C++, with comfort in software architecture and system designStrong foundation in software engineering principles, including modular design, testing, documentation, and code qualityExperience using software version control systems in team environmentsExperience designing or contributing to CI / CD pipelines for build, test and deployment automationFamiliarity with DevOps concepts, including secure coding practices and automated testingDemonstrated experience integrating algorithms, models, or simulations into software systemsAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEligibility to obtain a Secret clearanceExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsWorking proficiency in verbal and written EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active Secret clearance or higherAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or EngineeringExperience in aerospace, defense, space systems, or related domainsProfessional experience with DevOps / DevSecOps toolsExperience working alongside algorithm, research, or modeling teams to transition prototype solutions into operational softwareExperience with containerization and orchestrationExperience implementing, evaluating, or integrating algorithmsExperience with real-time or near-real-time systemsExperience supporting algorithm-heavy systems such as decision aids, modeling & simulation platforms, or physics-based solutions.SALARY RANGE
$115,000 - $190,0000+ annually
Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
