A growing, relationship-driven dental laboratory is launching a Removable Department and is seeking an experienced Dental Lab Technician (Analog & Digital) to help build it from the ground up.

Role Overview
The Removable Department Lead will play a critical role in establishing, developing, and scaling a new removable service line with strong existing demand.
This position combines hands-on production with department development, offering the opportunity to influence workflows, materials, pricing, quality standards, and future team growth.
The right candidate is a builder mindset technician—detail-oriented, collaborative, and excited to help create something meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
Department Development & Leadership
- Help design and implement removable workflows (analog and digital)
- Assist with selecting materials, equipment, and digital processes
- Contribute to pricing strategy, turnaround times, and quality benchmarks
- Partner with leadership to scale the department responsibly and efficiently
Analog / Traditional Responsibilities
- Wax-ups, tooth setups, processing, finishing, and polishing
- Fabrication of full dentures, partials, bite splints, and other removables
- Repairs, relines, and adjustments with precision and consistency
Digital Responsibilities
- Manage digital portals and IOS cases
- Design removable prosthetics using CAD software
- Support 3D printing and digital production workflows
- Integrate digital efficiencies while maintaining high esthetic and functional standards
Collaboration & Quality
- Communicate directly with dentists and internal team members
- Maintain exceptional quality, esthetics, and consistency
- Support training and future team expansion as volume increases
Qualifications Required
- Proven experience fabricating removable prosthetics (dentures, partials)
- Strong analog skill set with openness to digital workflows
- Solid understanding of dental lab terminology and processes
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Strong communication skills and leadership mindset
Preferred
- Experience launching or scaling a removable department
- CAD/CAM and/or 3D printing experience
- Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mentality
