Travel : 25–30% for pre-bid site walks & pre-construction meetings
Compensation : Up to $125,000 + benefits
About the Opportunity
A growing sports and civil construction contractor is expanding its estimating team due to increased project volume and long-term succession planning. This role focuses on athletic fields, turf systems, and complex sitework. The ideal candidate enjoys a mix of technical estimating, field verification, and collaborative team work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate estimates
- Perform detailed takeoffs for grading, soils, drainage, utilities, and turf-related scopes
- Input quantities and cost data into SAGE estimating software
- Support a high-volume estimating environment with multiple bids submitted daily
- Conduct pre-bid site walks and attend pre-construction meetings (25–30% travel)
- Collaborate closely with estimators, project managers, and field teams
- Utilize Procore for project coordination and documentation
