As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Team in Buffalo, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service and communication, supporting a secure environment for all personnel. Pay Rate : $17.41 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns within the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
