Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Camarillo. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems, with a focus on space-related applications. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in software quality engineering within the space or aerospace industry, along with a strong understanding of AS9100 guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing, to verify compliance with space industry standards and requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and root cause analysis for software defects, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality management system guidelines, including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts tailored to space mission-critical software, incorporating environmental simulations and reliability testing.
• Participate in design reviews, code inspections, and process improvements to enhance software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders, to support certification and compliance efforts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, best practices in software quality for aerospace, and emerging technologies in space systems.
• Contribute to the preparation and support of internal and external audits, including those related to AS9100 certification.
