Job Summary
The Billing Analyst supports the financial operations of the SkyTouch Hotel OS platform by executing daily billing activities and ensuring accurate revenue reporting. This role processes payments, reconciles billing entries, and resolves discrepancies across multiple systems. The analyst collaborates with IT, Customer Service, and Marketing to maintain billing accuracy and compliance. Ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills, this role contributes to process improvement and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Execute daily billing tasks for choiceADVANTAGE and SkyTouch Hotel OS customers
Research and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner
Set up and validate contractual fees and special billing requests per corporate workflow
Reconcile monthly billing entries prior to billing runs and ensure accuracy
Process payments and adjustments in accordance with SOX compliance standards
Collect, manipulate, and analyze billing data to produce reports and dashboards
Perform root cause and ad hoc data analyses to support process improvements
Respond to customer inquiries via billing hotline and email, ensuring high-quality service
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Employment Experience
3–5 years of experience in corporate billing and receivables, including customer service
Experience working with operational billing systems and functions
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, nested formulas)
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
Experience with CRM and billing platforms preferred

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Salary Range
$56,000 – $65,000 annually The pay range listed is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
