As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Screener in a dynamic technology and media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout assigned areas. Your role involves monitoring entry points, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. You will play a key part in fostering a secure environment by responding to situations with integrity and professionalism, making a meaningful difference every day.

Time : Sat 09 : 30 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, screening individuals and / or packages as required by site protocols.
  • Operate screening equipment such as metal detectors and / or x-ray machines to support security-related objectives.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity promptly to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Support the enforcement of access control procedures by verifying credentials and / or identification of employees, visitors, and contractors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
