Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and independent Project Design Estimator to join our team for small to mid-sized site development projects. This role involves creating detailed drawings for various underground drainage and piping systems using AutoCAD and a web-based design platform. The position is fully remote, requiring self-accountability to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of work.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings for underground drainage and piping systems using AutoCAD.
• Utilize a web-based design platform to develop project designs.
• Work independently and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Communicate effectively with internal partners and external clients.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of AutoCAD experience in civil engineering projects, including 2D design and depth conceptualization.
• Proficiency in drainage design.
• Experience with civil drafting and design estimation, such as bill of materials and takeoffs.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with a web-based design platform.
• Higher education in CAD or a related field.
• Familiarity with ADS stormwater products.
• Land survey CAD experience.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the Eastern time zone. You will be part of a large, international firm that provides training and mentorship. After mastering smaller projects, there is an opportunity to graduate to larger projects. Necessary equipment will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
