Responsibilities
Ensures biomedical radiology and imaging equipment is maintained in a high state of reliability. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance new equipment installations testing calibrations and repairs to all radiology and imaging equipment following manufacturers recommendations.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Systems technology Physics or directly related field required
High School Diploma General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 4 years of Imaging Equipment Technician experience or related experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree
Experience
Significant training in various types of patient related medical equipment preferred
Licenses and Certifications
CBET - Clinical Engineering and Biomed preferred
Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate preferred
