Job Summary : The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse is an essential member of our Radiology Team, responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients in the department, following established policies and protocols. Key Responsibilities : Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs for patients undergoing invasive procedures. Deliver high-quality nursing care during and post-procedures. Assist Radiologists during imaging examinations and interventions. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions using computerized systems. Educate patients and their families about procedures and care. Provide culturally and developmentally appropriate care. Mentor and orient new staff members as needed. Adhere to standard precautions and hospital policies regarding medication administration. Qualifications : ACLS certification within 90 days of start date. BCLS certification within 30 days of start date. Active SC or compact state nursing license. Associate Degree in Nursing. Prior experience in IR, ER, Critical Care, or Imaging nursing is required.
