Medical Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist (Charge Poster).

Key Responsibilities

Review accounts to ensure accuracy of balance

Provide account maintenance and manage collection module for accounts 90 days and older

Post insurance and patient payments to appropriate accounts and research explanations of benefits

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree and 2 years of experience, or a minimum of 5 years experience without an associate's degree

Experience in health insurance, medical terminology, and CPT codes

Proficiency in medical software programs and Microsoft Word, Excel

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task

Empathetic to patient needs and strong customer service skills
