Looking for Production Control Assistant for a manufacture in Carlsbad.

Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM

Pay range : $26.00-$29.00 DOE

Job Title : Production Control Assistant

Department :  Production / Operations

Reports To :  Production Control Manager / Operations Supervisor.

Position Summary :   The Production Control Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and monitoring of manufacturing or production schedules to ensure products are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role involves maintaining accurate production records, assisting with material and inventory purchasing department, and communicating with multiple departments to keep workflow efficient.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules for production orders.
• Monitor work orders and ensure timely release of production jobs.
• Track the progress of ongoing production and report any delays or issues to customers regarding their orders.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability.
• Coordinating with Shipping department for order on time and departure
• Maintain accurate data in ERP or production control systems.
• Prepare production reports, summaries, and performance metrics.
• Support inventory audits and help reconcile discrepancies.
• Help identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
