ArcGIS Developer to design, configure, and maintain a ESRI ArcGIS environment that delivers real‑time situational awareness and operational coordination across the department. This role will integrate diverse operational data sources, build secure and reliable data pipelines, develop interactive dashboards and maps, and implement cross‑agency sharing with role‑based access and SSO. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on ArcGIS Enterprise experience, data‑engineering skills, systems integration know‑how (Quickbase, Responder360, Cartegraph), and a focus on scalable, secure solutions plus user training and ongoing support.

RequiredThe ArcGIS Developer will design, configure, and maintain the ESRI ArcGIS environment to support real-time situational awareness and operational coordination across Harris County. Key responsibilities include :
Integrating diverse data sources (air monitoring, TAK, special events, facility surveys, vehicle tracking, dispatch, asset management, cameras, demographics, property, environmental sensors) into the ArcGIS platform.Building secure data pipelines and ensuring data accuracy, availability, and interoperability.Developing interactive dashboards, maps, and calendar-based visualizations.Ensuring seamless integration with external systems including Quickbase, Responder360, and Cartegraph.Implementing cross-agency data-sharing features and role-based access controls for secure information exchange.Designing modular, scalable system components to support future expansion.Performing system testing, user training, documentation, and ongoing technical support.Scheduled Milestones and Deliverables
