Security Officer - Bank Reception Specialist

As a Security Officer - Bank Reception Specialist in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control, verifying credentials, and maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and / or clients in a professional manner at the front desk of the financial institution.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to appropriate personnel or departments within the location.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site leadership regarding security-related concerns or unusual activities observed at the front desk.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown protocols as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
