RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Chicago, Illinois.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTs

We are partnering with a Chicago area school program to find outstanding Speech Language Pathologists / SLPs for theschool year.

Responsibilities :

  • Speech Pathologist will be assigned a caseload upon mutual consider that best suits their skills and interests and the needs of the school district. Typically covering 2-3 schools over the course of a week.
  • SLP will provide direct and consultative Speech and Language services to students including screening, assessing, treating, and reporting as appropriate.
  • Openings could include early learning programs though transitional classrooms with students of varying speech diagnoses.
  • Plan and present at IEP / Student conferences in consultation with staff.
  • Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time only.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • Qualifications :

  • Hold Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
  • 1-2 years’ experience a plus. CF not suited for these opportunities.
  • Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.

    • Work Hours :

  • Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
  • 31 hours / week.

    • Salary and Benefits :

  • $42 / hr for newer grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay. CFs may be considered.

  • Up to $300 of continuing ed / materials fund available for full time employees.
