Role : DevOps Engineer - Lead

Location : Cincinnati OH (Hybrid)

Duration : 12 Months contract on w2

Role Description

  • Design implement and oversee deployment pipelines for cloud-native applications primarily in Azure.
  • Collaborate with development QA security and operations teams to ensure DevOps best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning (Infrastructure as Code) configuration management and deployment processes. Maintain optimize and troubleshoot CI / CD pipelines for performance scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure code management branching strategies and code review policies are followed using Git repositories.
  • Lead incident response and post-deployment validation ensuring rollback recovery and auditability.
  • Mentor junior team members on deployment best practices and evolving cloud-native tools.

Required Skills

  • Cloud Platform Expertise : Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Services AKS Azure Functions Azure DevOps ARM / Bicep etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (microservices containers serverless).
  • CI / CD and Automation : Proven experience designing / managing CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell Bash Python or similar) for automating workflows. Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Familiar with monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor App Insights).
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing deployment issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication : Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
