JOB SUMMARY
The Quality NDT Leader is responsible for assuring compliance to plant, corporation, customer, and industry standards of the non-destructive testing methods (including but not limited to : visual - VT, ultrasonic - UT, FPI - PT, X-ray - RT / DR, Crystal Grain Etch - CVM). This position will be responsible for leading audits and driving continuous improvement efforts to improve quality and process controls.
Anticipated Pay Range : $93K-110K per Year.
- Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions
\n
Ensure that NDT methods and procedures meet the customer and industry standards.\n
Maintain compliance of products and processes in manufacturing to specific company, industry, and customer requirements.\n
Support L3s in maintaining training and certification of NDT personnel.\n
Monitor quality and productivity trends. Initiate and lead continuous improvement of NDT-related manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and ensure product quality objectives are met.\n
Support internal and external audits of the NDT processes.\n
Effectively manage and develop direct reports and ensure succession plans are in place to have a sustained quality work force\n
Be a team player and develop relationships, both internally and externally, to achieve the necessary leadership engagement, management influence and customer connections\n
Maintain lines of communication with customers. This includes verbal and written correspondence and personal visits when required.\n
Provide technical support to Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales.\n
Develop, maintain and implement enhancements to the quality system or processes that result in improved quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and / or simplification of processes to reduce costs, including tracking, analyzing, risk-based thinking, reporting, and problem solving.\n
A thorough understanding of problem solving, root cause analysis, and quality improvement tools and techniques. This includes knowledge of management planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvement.\n
Effectively communicate and reinforce commitment to quality systems and continuous improvement efforts.\n
Participate in the quality reporting and management review process.\n
Assist with the analysis of data and metrics, generate relevant reports and lead improvement initiatives, as directed.\n
Standardize metrics and best practices\n \n JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge in Statistical Tools and Techniques, NDE, APQP and Measurement System Analysis;\n
Ability to lead cross functional quality and process improvement initiatives\n
Ability to multitask with numerous aspects of the day to day job;\n
Possess production operation knowledge and experience relating to manufacturing, inspection, engineering and customer interaction;\n
Ability to develop and maintain quality processes and systems that meet both customer and regulatory requirements and work for the business. Ensure quality system metrics and key process indicators are maintained and that the results are used to drive continuous improvement;\n
Ability to identify, control and mitigate appropriate levels of systems, process and product risk;\n
Must consistently demonstrate Company values and perform within the performance management framework;\n
Must exhibit strength to stand on decisions which are not popular but open minded enough to effectively evaluate what is best for the business.\n
Must exhibit strong initiative to include high performance, anticipate opportunities, set challenging goals, act proactively to address issues and opportunities and be a self-starter;\n
The ability to prioritize and appropriately delegate responsibility while maintaining accountability.\n \n

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;\n
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline\n
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is required for this position.\n
A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory / leadership experience is required.\n
Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods.\n
Experience with quality tools, such as CAPA, six-sigma, lean manufacturing, PPAP, FMEA, problem solving techniques, root-cause-analysis.\n \n
