Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations: Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare quarterly IRS tax submissions and collaborate with external accountants for annual federal and state tax filings.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, analyze, and manage office operational budgets. Provide leadership with insights by comparing financial statements to budget projections and recommending corrective actions.
- Cash Flow Optimization: Track and optimize cash flow through home office reimbursement plans.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, annual tax filings, payroll, and benefits administration.
Skills and Certifications:
- CPA designation or public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly investment-related accounting, is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent decision-making and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
