We're looking for a detail oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join a stable and well established leader in plastic injection molding. This role is critical to ensuring product integrity through audits, inspections, and testing, while supporting compliance with safety and quality standards. The Quality Inspector will play a key part in reducing scrap, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvement across production processes.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor production processes through scheduled and random quality audits.
- Conduct inspections using proper equipment and standardized practices to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to Materials, Operations, and Management teams.
- Identify, contain, and report nonconforming products; ensure proper disposition before release.
- Perform internal process and facility audits to comply with company standards.
- Support problem solving efforts with root cause analysis and corrective action documentation.
- Verify calibration of tools, equipment, and devices according to schedule.
- Issue quality bulletins and maintain accurate records of quality incidents.
- Ensure production personnel follow proper procedures for ongoing checks.
- Make regular safety observations and comply with GMP and safety policies.
- Collaborate across departments to maintain product integrity and reduce scrap rates.
Qualifications :
1 2 years of experience as an inspector, supplier source auditor, or product test technician in a Quality Assurance / Control environment.Associate's degree in a quality related discipline preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Smartsheet experience a plus.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.Team oriented with effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, designs, production standards, and technical procedures.Skilled in using adjustable measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales).Knowledge of GMP requirements, safety policies, and quality systems.This position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for career growth within the organization.
