We are on the lookout for a dynamic Preventive Maintenance Junior Manager to enhance asset reliability and maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you'll manage asset risks, boost operational efficiency, and lead a dedicated team to ensure smooth and reliable production performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- People and Labor Management :
- Drive safety, quality, and operational efficiency in your assigned areas.
- Facilitate daily maintenance meetings and encourage team accountability.
- Develop, monitor, and execute training plans for the maintenance & repair team.
- Act as the main liaison for union issues, promoting strong labor relations.
- Support recruitment efforts for mechanics.
- Guide the development of new Preventive Maintenance (PM) leads and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Asset Reliability :
- Manage the lubrication program and ensure its successful execution.
- Collaborate with the Reliability Engineer on maintenance strategies and support SAP management.
- Control budget and drive maintenance cost improvements.
- Lead projects to enhance maintenance efficiency.
- Conduct breakdown analysis to improve line performance.
- Productivity and Process Improvements :
- Work with teams to identify and execute projects addressing operational losses.
- Research and implement industry best practices.
- Develop centerlines to guarantee consistent equipment performance.
- Labor & Scheduling :
- Create schedules for preventive maintenance and manage workload effectively in SAP.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Qualifications :
2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or related roles preferred.3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance lead position required.Proven project management and operational leadership skills.Strong computer skills, including Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CMMS such as SAP.Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.More about this Role :
Education / Certifications :Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.Work Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7 am-3 pm with potential for overtime and weekend work.Salary and Benefits :
Base salary range is $87,000 - $103,400, based on experience and qualifications.Eligibility to participate in a competitive bonus program based on performance.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more.Located at Portland Bakery.
