Job Description :

The Lead Contracts will provide contractual guidance / direction as it relates to the execution of company programs business development and day-to-day operations. This role will oversee and execute contracts and support compliance with FAR DFAR and all applicable contract documents.

Essential Functions :

  • Preparation negotiation acceptance and management of contracts including time and materials firm-fixed price fixed price incentive fee and cost reimbursement.
  • Provide contractual advice and guidance and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical program office finance pricing and security for seamless contract administration.
  • Provide knowledge of applicable government regulations in the execution of business activity. Serve as advisor and make recommendations as needed on contractual proposal and business matters.
  • Support proposal efforts including review of contract provisions and review of proposal response.
  • Conduct negotiation activity and settlement of provisions producing sound contract terms and conditions teaming agreements contract amendments / modifications which mitigate / minimize company risk and support company goals.
  • Comply with procedures and systems necessary to afford adequate contract controls and services including contract records management and reporting.
  • Coordinate all essential activity with legal Counsel and obtain necessary approvals for proposal submittals contract negotiation award execution and close-out.
  • Work with business development and program departments to support current and future business needs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • At least 9 years of experience managing contracts in the DoD space.
  • Proficient computer skills working knowledge of standard computer products and devices including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) the Internet and the ability to comprehend and learn new software.
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems; use sound reasoning to reach conclusions; find alternatives.
  • Advanced working knowledge of FAR / DFAR and UCC ITAR and general law.
  • Ability to speak read write and spell English well and have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to perform multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Well organized; consistently maintains a high level of productivity; ability to manage priorities; high degree of flexibility; ability to meet deadlines; multi-task oriented; pays attention to detail.
  • This position will require the individual to be a U.S. citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Preferred Additional Skills :

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $108000 - $201000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire schedule type and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
