Applied Researcher

A company is looking for a Staff Applied Researcher to design evaluation systems for AI-powered developer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design evaluation frameworks for code generation, reasoning, safety, and agentic workflows

Build and optimize evaluation tooling, datasets, and experimentation pipelines

Shape the strategy for model quality and mentor other researchers and engineers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in a related field with relevant experience in data science

3+ years of engineering skills in Python / Typescript and experience with production-grade evaluation or ML pipelines

Proven track record of shipping research or evaluation systems in production environments

Strong cross-functional communication and influence skills
