Junior Network Engineer

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Jr. Systems Engineer for our Firewall / Internet Security team. This is an entry level position with growth potential. Seeking someone with around 2-3 years of networking experience.

Your Role

• Learn to manage firewall environments whether on-prem or cloud adhering to corporate standards
• Develop a security mindset to understand the ever-growing landscape of threats
• Assist with management of tickets with technology support centers
• Fulfill firewall rule requests from IT and Business customers for new and existing connectivity
• Visit data centers / remote sites to perform installations or troubleshooting of firewall and peripheral equipment as necessary
• Assist in management of proxy clients and software via management Consoles
• Assist with implementing new functionality as required and be eager to learn new technologies.
• Learn to work and test in a lab environment
• Follow strict change management procedures
• Learn how to produce reports and analysis as needed
• Assist in creation of documentation of new and existing topology
