Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical investigation programs, including planning, permitting, implementation, field data collection, oversight, data reporting, and the preparation of interpretive reports.
• Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and soil / rock slopes.
• Conduct geologic and seismic hazard evaluations.
• Work under the direction of senior engineers who provide technical oversight.
• Write technical reports and other documents explaining the basis for analyses, designs, or recommendations.
• Assist in preparing construction drawings and specifications for underground infrastructure.
• Collaborate as an integral member of a multi‑discipline team on complex projects.
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills to effectively interact with internal staff and clients.

Salary

$57,443 – $104,156 per year, commensurate with experience.
