Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Telehealth Coordinator with YesCare :
- Identifies a ""Telehealth Champion"" (early adopter) at each facility to ensure the technology is effectively and frequently utilized at each unit.
- Introduces clinical staff and providers to the systems via a structured training program to include practical demonstrations to show benefits of the program’s technology.
- Ensures telemedicine equipment is fully operational and maintained and is properly set up and tested at each facility (via monthly audit.)
- Tracks monthly telehealth utilization on a facility-by-facility basis, summarizing and reporting the data.
- Provides input for development of telehealth policies and procedures.
- Lends support to new and innovative ideas for expansion.
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of site specific utilization and concerns.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Health care related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.Experience in the delivery of virtual careWorking knowledge of medical theory, clinical practice, patient care, medical terminologyWorking knowledge of the use of computers, associated software applications, office equipment, and medical equipment and peripherals (e.g., stethoscope.)Ability to develop efficient and effective workflows for consistent, high quality remote healthcare deliveryExperience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.Familiarity with prison custody, safety and security regulations; health services policies and procedures; and inmate behavior.Ability to train other healthcare staff to operate and maintain the telehealth equipment.Knowledgeable in the legal and ethical aspects of correctional medicine.Ability to interpret data, identify and track trends and analyze for the purposes of process improvement.A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.YesCare Benefits (For Full-Time Positions)
