Job Title: Physician Assistant - Plastic Surgery
Location: Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr., VAMC 1030 Jefferson Avenue.
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.mKey Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations of patients in clinic and inpatient units.
- Assist the Plastic Surgeon in the operating room and during procedures.
- Manage wound care, suture removal, dressing changes, and minor procedures.
- Document patient encounters in the electronic health record (CPRS) within 72 hours.
- Assist with scheduling, care coordination, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient encounters and follow-ups.
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
- Certified by the NCCPA and licensed in any U.S. state or territory.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a surgical or plastic surgery setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Current BLS certification.
