Civil Litigation Associate Attorney (2+ years of exp)

• We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, self-sufficient, highly organized and goal-oriented litigation associate attorney to join our close-knit, fast-growing team.
• The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of civil litigation experience in a law office with the willingness to learn the Trust / Estates practice. Probate and / or trust litigation experience is a bonus as we do have some litigation work in those particular probate areas.
• Personality, leadership, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations.
• This position requires, at a minimum, a procedural understanding of civil litigation, including but not limited to : trial preparation, writing pleadings, preparing mediation briefs, drafting motions and depositions, propounding and responding to discovery.
• Must be familiar with utilizing various California Superior Court websites, and other government related entities.
• Civil Litigation Associate Attorney Qualifications
• Licensed JD from an ABA- approved law school in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong research and adept writing skills.
• Draft and prepare briefs, motions, discovery, depositions, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with court websites, and WealthDocx is preferred but not required.
• Experience managing a full case load.
