Director of Supplier Quality

A company is looking for a Director of Supplier Quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Build, lead, and develop the supplier quality team in APAC to achieve company objectives

Drive zero defect methodology to prevent factory disruptors and implement efficient dock to stock programs

Improve supplier quality through early engagement with R&D, procurement, and suppliers

Required Qualifications :

BS in Engineering; MS preferred

10-15 years of experience in Supplier Management Engineering / Quality Engineering for a Technology or Automotive Company

15+ years of supplier quality experience with proven success in partnering with suppliers

Experience with zero defect manufacturing and automotive certification TS16949 or similar

Strong background in SPC control methods and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and DOE
