This position is for a seasoned Quality professional. This role works as an individual contributor to manage Quality processes and / or projects while partnering with the Service Center Team and the Avionics Quality organization. This role is accountable for ensuring continued compliance with internal and external standards and requirements. This individual will work to achieve objectives that have a major impact on the organizations quality and compliance goals.
What You Will Do :
Serves as the focal with Cedar Rapids Service Center site leadership for all Quality functional support.
Serves as the primary point of contact for customer and regulatory agencies
Acts as primary interface with onsite DCMA leading and coordinating responses to CARs
Provides input and guidance on processes and plans to maintain certification and improve compliance with internal and external standards (including AS9100 FAA EASA UK CAA FAR / DFAR and applicable Military Aviation Regulations) and contracts.
Provides support and oversight of internal external and customer audits
Manages and reviews projects processes and metrics that impact quality to ensure achievement of quality targets and makes recommendations for improvement
Ensures appropriate containment and root cause corrective actions occur for audit findings product investigations customer corrective actions and / or process improvements
Maintains the Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Repair Station Training Manual (RSTM)
Manages Operation Specifications and Maintenance Capability Lists.
Supports Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and compliance.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Qualifications We Prefer :
Ability to understand interpret and apply Quality requirements / MRO regulations (including AS9100 FAA EASA UK CAA FAR / DFAR and applicable Military Aviation Regulations).
Experience in the Aerospace / aviation industry.
Previous customer interaction experience.
Lean or Six sigma certification.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
