Outdoor Grill Master

The Outdoor Grill Master is responsible for food preparations, sanitation, grilling various food and general cleanliness and maintenance of grilling equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food as directed.
• Perform all sanitation needs and duties.
• Work special events and tournaments as assigned.
• Maintain inventory of grilling equipment and supplies. Report inventory in need of replacement to Food Service Manager.
• Maintain a safety zone around the grill that is free of trip hazards and prohibits patrons from getting too close.
• Assist Food Service Sales Associates with food preparation, presentation, and sale of food and beverage products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, Illinois Food Handler's Certification within one (1) month of hire.
• Exposure to heat from appliances, smoke, steam, cleaning chemicals, food, and odors.
• Prolonged lifting, stooping, bending, twisting, and standing.
• Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a daily basis. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.

Full Salary Range: $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr
