[job_card.job_description]Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 5+ years managing QC programs on contracts of similar size and complexity. Experience with DHA or USACE projects in active military medical facilities OSHA 30 USACE CQMC , and First Aid / CPR certifications. Proficiency in RMS (Resident Management System) Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, PPE procedures, and accident investigation. Expertise in the 3-Phase QC process (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up). Understanding of RFID control and equipment planning for government recordkeeping. Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam Experience with BAS / MEP systems (HVAC, electrical) in healthcare facilities. Must pass federal background check and drug screening for base access.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the quality control program for a federal contract at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) . This role ensures compliance with federal standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance requirements in an active military medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the contractor's Quality Control Management Program across all delivery orders.
- Monitor and inspect work for compliance with contract specifications and federal regulations.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare monthly QC reports.
- Conduct inspections and follow-ups to resolve issues.
- Collect and enter data into government systems (e.g., DMLSS).
- Prepare incident / accident reports and lead safety meetings.
- Manage infection control permits and hazardous waste disposal as needed.
- Train personnel on QC procedures and material control.
