About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the quality control program for a federal contract at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) . This role ensures compliance with federal standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance requirements in an active military medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the contractor's Quality Control Management Program across all delivery orders.
- Monitor and inspect work for compliance with contract specifications and federal regulations.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare monthly QC reports.
- Conduct inspections and follow-ups to resolve issues.
- Collect and enter data into government systems (e.g., DMLSS).
- Prepare incident / accident reports and lead safety meetings.
- Manage infection control permits and hazardous waste disposal as needed.
- Train personnel on QC procedures and material control.
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.5+ years managing QC programs on contracts of similar size and complexity.Experience with DHA or USACE projects in active military medical facilitiesOSHA 30 USACE CQMC , and First Aid / CPR certifications.Proficiency in RMS (Resident Management System)Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, PPE procedures, and accident investigation.Expertise in the 3-Phase QC process (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up).Understanding of RFID control and equipment planning for government recordkeeping.Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Procore and BluebeamExperience with BAS / MEP systems (HVAC, electrical) in healthcare facilities.Additional Requirements
Must pass federal background check and drug screening for base access.
