[job_card.job_description]Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams per provider orders, including ER, inpatient, outpatient, and trauma imaging. Verify patient identity, review orders, follow dual-identifier policy, and document exams accurately in EMR / PACS. Position patients safely, assist with limited-mobility patients, and apply ALARA radiation safety principles at all times. Operate radiographic equipment, portables, C-arm / O-arm, and maintain high-quality, diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Monitor patient condition during procedures and adjust techniques based on age-specific needs. Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT (R) certification required. NYS Radiologic Technologist license . BLS (AHA only) required.
