Job Description

Join our passionate team in the Meat department where you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring top-notch quality and safety of our products. We embrace values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, prompt assistance to customers, creating a welcoming experience.
  • Maintain professionalism in all customer and team member interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Keep the department clean and inviting for all customers.
  • Unpack products and set up displays following company standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular temperature checks to guarantee product safety.
  • Monitor product freshness and quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organize sales floor, backrooms, and coolers to remain clean and orderly.
  • Ensure that floors are safe and free of hazards.
  • Sanitize utensils and cookware in accordance with health guidelines.
  • Manage product signage, organization, rotation, and inventory levels effectively.
  • Maintain equipment safely and adhere to company policies.
  • Comply with all company policies and State and Federal regulations.
  • Operate the cash register when needed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating well even under pressure.
  • Handle conflicts respectfully and cooperatively.
  • Uphold integrity concerning customer and business information.
  • Follow instructions and seek assistance to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Provide necessary support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Available to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to read labels, signs, and training materials.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Show initiative and follow through on responsibilities.
  • Work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Competent in safely using cleaning solutions, tools, and production equipment.

  • Demonstrated reliability and integrity in previous positions.
  • Experience in food preparation tasks.
  • Understanding of food safety laws and regulations.
  • Background in grocery retail and customer service.
