Registered Dental Hygienist

West Chester, OH

Full Time - Monday - Thursday (optional Friday available). One day per week is accelerated with an assistant.

Compensation : $40-$46 per hour or 30% of net production, whichever is higher.Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient oral health and requirements through screening methods, including medical history review, dental charting, and periodontal charting
• Provide direct patient care following standard dental hygiene protocols
• Measure and record patient vital signs
• Conduct standard treatments such as scaling and polishing
• Obtain diagnostic x-rays as needed by the dentist for treatment planning
• Administer sealants and fluoride treatments
• Maintain electronic patient records
• Document dental history and primary complaint
• Note and communicate relevant clinical observations
• Educate patients on preventing tooth decay and gum disease via proper nutrition and home oral care
• Clean and sterilize instruments
• Prepare treatment plan as directed by the dentist
• Discuss treatment plan and related fees with the patient
• Clearly relay patient concerns to the dentist
• Serve as primary treatment coordinator
• Perform additional duties as required
