[job_card.job_description]Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry into technology and media facilities. Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related issues according to company and client requirements. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to maintain a secure and orderly environment. Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site procedures or Allied Universal guidelines. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description
As a Security Officer - Media Site Access in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere, staying visible throughout the location, and supporting a culture of reliability, integrity, and teamwork that defines Allied Universal.
