Hospitality, beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are at the heart of Marlow's Tavern. The role of the Key Employee exists to assist the management team in the daily supervision and direction of service and culinary team members on scheduled shifts. You must be able to interact effectively with team members and the management teams and be the local champion of the “Hospitality First” vibe in your Tavern. It is a role that requires ongoing education of the team, managing our systems and processes and being the liaison between the company programs and great execution of those programs in your tavern.
You should be the driving force behind our company's number one value, “Hospitality.” You are ultimately accountable for directing a process that begins with product and procedures education throughout the team and ends with a smiling guest receiving the food, beverage and service they expected, served when and the way they want it, all with Marlow's “World Class Hospitality”.
The Key Employee reports to the General Manager and shares responsibility for certain aspects of the overall results of the Tavern. In addition to the personal, functional and leadership responsibilities, the Key Employee must possess basic management skills, including people skills, guest retention and shift management.
