Previous charge experience required

Experience managing patient ratios

Experience with monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias

Experience with central line care and management

Experience with continuous IV sedation

Description :

The position is for a Charge Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.

The candidate will float between units as needed.

Weekends will be required as needed.

Block schedules are required.

The expected patient ratio is 1 : 4.

Special requirements include experience managing patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure.

The environment is a short-term acute care facility with a total of 49 staffed beds.

The facility operates as a Level IV Trauma Center.

RNs will wear street clothes to the facility.

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities.

Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.

All types of shifts may require coverage as needed.

Providers may be required to have communication devices for performing assigned duties.

Providers will be responsible for submitting any work-related communication charges.
