Coastal Management Specialist

A company is looking for a Coastal Management Specialist to support coastal management initiatives and projects in the Great Lakes region.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of Coastal Zone Management Act programs and provide technical reviews for proposals

Provide technical and grants management support for Great Lakes Restoration Initiative projects

Coordinate with partners on coastal resource management issues and participate in regional meetings

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Marine Policy, or a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience

Knowledge of coastal zone management issues and the Coastal Zone Management Act, with Great Lakes experience preferred

Experience in nature-based solutions for shoreline management and enhancing climate resilience

Ability to pass a National Agency Check and maintain it throughout employment

Documented experience in environmental planning and stakeholder outreach
