About the role

Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking a Senior Field Engineer who has experience in civil site work and utility inspection for the Construction Services division of the company in our Savannah, Georgia office.

The position will be the main contact for a group of clients and ensure that the company's high standards are met, and clients are satisfied with our service. The opportunity a full-time or part-time role is available.

The person awarded this position will...

• Conduct assessments of civil projects (e.g., roads, drainage, utilities, grading) on a weekly basis
• Prepare inspection reports documenting findings from field visits to civil project locations
• Communicate with clients, contractors, surveyors, and engineers
• Coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (e.g. local jurisdictions, EPD, DNR)
• Resolve construction issues in-person
• Coordinate project team and attend meetings
• Performs other related duties as assigned
