Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

Under general supervision, follows oral and / or written instructions in performance of a wide variety of skilled technical maintenance, repair, and testing on complex digital and analog electronic components, electrical and electro-mechanical components, cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, assemblies, field replaceable units (FRU) and systems to support a wide variety of Robotic Systems. Regularly use of diagnostic software for localizing equipment and system problems, specialized testing equipment, analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, clocks, timers, calipers, voltmeters, power supplies, rulers, and other test equipment as required.

Essential Job Duties

• Analyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, fab drawings, mechanical component drawings to conduct repair and testing of FRUs
• Performs repair of complex electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable work Instructions Performs testing of complex electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable work Instructions
• Aids with failure analysis and Final Test of assemblies and properly documents findings.
• Participates in investigational teams for FRU's to provide input if required.
• Communicates status of repairs with leads / supervisors and other departments as necessary.
• Provides detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during repair, functional test and calibration to assist in component-level troubleshooting.
• Conducts quality inspection of own or other's work to ensure workmanship standards are met.
• Adheres to GDP guidelines when completing all documentation Initiates material requests.
• Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notification (VR, PL) records transactions in SAP as needed to preserve traceability.
• Follows all corporate, safety, SOP, DOP procedures and regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
• Communicates process flow recommendations to Leads / Supervisor / Manager or designee.
• Maintains an excellent attendance record.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, benefits and equity. The target pay rate for this position is $49,920 / yr.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
