About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Maryland!

📅 Coverage & Schedule

Schedule Options :

  • M‑W‑F, 8 hr / day
  • OR M‑F, 8 hr / day

🏥 Practice Setting & Support

Outpatient clinic & inpatient call coverage

Shared space with Radiation Treatment Center

Team includes Breast Surgeon, Surgical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologists

Support staff : patient navigator, social worker, medical assistant, practice manager

No onsite chemo (infusion center located ~2 miles away)

👥 Patient Volumes & Population

Outpatient Clinic : ≤ 10 patients / day

Inpatient Call / Rounding : ≤ 2 patients / day

Adult & geriatric population; Spanish‑speaking interpreters available

Approx. 70–80 patients / week (mostly chronic management, few emergent cases)

📋 Clinical & Procedural Duties

Administer chemotherapy (intracavitary, intrathecal)

Perform FNA / biopsy, manage VAD / CV catheters

Participate in Tumor Board discussions

Blood bank collaboration, ordering tests / images, prescribing medications

💵 Compensation & Benefits

💰 Hourly Rate : $550 / hr (Negotiable)

🏨 Lodging : Reimbursed

✈️ Flights & Car Rental : Covered

🚗 Mileage : Billed at IRS standard rate

✅ Requirements

  • ️ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology – REQUIRED
  • ️ Active MD state license in Maryland – REQUIRED
  • ️ Active MD DEA and CDS registration – REQUIRED
  • ️ ACLS or BLS registration – REQUIRED
