Oracle APEX Developer

ProSearch is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for an onsite contract role in Augusta, Maine . This programmer will support ongoing maintenance, development, and enhancement of internal applications used for IT planning and budget management. This role plays a key part in supporting application modernization and rationalization efforts. You will work alongside technical and business teams to ensure stable operation and continued improvement of Oracle-based systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot Oracle APEX applications
• Write, review, and maintain Oracle PL / SQL code
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements
• Develop and execute detailed test plans
• Ensure system performance and scalability by applying strong application design principles
• Support application updates and integrations across technical environments
• Present technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical users
• Coordinate with other developers or teams as necessary to meet project goals

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle PL / SQL
• Strong background in application design and analysis
• Ability to translate business problems into technical specifications and solutions
• Demonstrated experience in large, complex system environments
• Ability to mentor junior team members or oversee development efforts
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams

Nice to Have :

• Experience working on application rationalization initiatives
• Familiarity with IT budget management systems
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
