Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for working with your hands, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various manual machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet our specifications. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve machining processes.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
