A well-established healthcare organization in the Southern Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient rehabilitative services team. This position focuses primarily on pediatrics, with opportunities to support adult patients as well. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, collaborative, and dedicated to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for clients of all ages.

Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing needs.

Provide direct therapy in an outpatient setting, primarily serving pediatric patients.

Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and home programs.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to department policies.

Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, and ongoing professional development.

Contribute to program innovation and growth within outpatient speech services.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.

One to two years of pediatric or hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric training are encouraged to apply.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
