We're looking for an experienced and dedicated QHSE Manager to join our client's team in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities :
System Management : Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS and HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 compliance).
Compliance & Audit : Ensure the organization complies with all applicable quality standards, HSE laws, and internal procedures. Manage and conduct internal and external audits.
Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate quality, health, safety, and environmental risks across all operations.
Training & Culture : Develop and deliver QMS and HSE training programs to all employees. Promote a strong quality and safety culture throughout the organization.
Incident Management : Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventative action processes for quality deviations and HSE incidents.
Performance Monitoring : Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and HSE, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Documentation Control : Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control, safety inspections, permits, and compliance.
Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Skills :
Proven experience with ISO standards implementation and auditing (e.g., ISO 9001 is essential; ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 are a strong plus).
Education : Bachelors
Experience : 4-7 years
Qualifications :
Bachelor???s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5-9 years of progressive experience in managing Quality and HSE programs, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Industrial Services sectors.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations relevant to Houston-area industrial operations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Professional certification such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality / safety management software.
